Bodies of Color is a collection of fifty unique 1/1 works exploring the dissolution of form through space and color. Each piece exists as an abstract figuration, where the suggestion of a body becomes something less defined. The series continues El-Moussa’s ongoing exploration of Her, an archetype she has discovered that that exists beyond personal identity. Influenced by sculptors such as Brancusi and Moore, Bodies of Color reflects the artist’s musings on perception, fragmentation, and the pursuit of form within abstraction.
